Wedden op E-Sports en relevante informatie
Beste mensen,

Nu staat het: H2K to win 1.9, CW to in 1.8.
I am really excited to bring you predictions, previews and much more on the upcoming e-Sports event for League of Legends. The biggest event of the year: World Championship in Seoul, South Korea. The best teams of the world will be competing against eachother for the Summoners Cup and top team winning 1,000,000 dollars.
Last year SK Telecom T1 were victorious, but they are sadly not here this year.
PREVIEW ON THE TEAMS AND CHANCES OF WINNING.
Europe:
Fnatic: I believe Fnatic has a goldmine with their adc ' Rekkles ', they are currently bootcamping in Korea preparing for Worlds. Rekkles is the highest member of all teams that are in Korea bootcamping with the highest ELO CURRENTLY. Fnatic made it to 3rd/ 4th place last year, which is a huge achievement. This year I think they will face tougher opponents, since the teams from North- America are getting better and better. I don't think there is a realistic chance of them winning this World Championship.
The Alliance: Froggen finally had his Godlike Lineup completed in the beginning of this Summer Split, this resulted in them being the Summer Split Champions. Very well deserved, not a team that could match their playmaking abilities and team orientation abilities. I have confidence that they really have a realistic shot at beating the Chinese and Korean teams, which are simply the best, not much to add. But again Scrim Results are classified, so I wouldn't know if they are getting crushed by Korean teams in scrims at the moment.
SK Gaming: SK was the team that started the season really decent, but collapsed in the middle, I have never seen such an inconsistent team as SK as during the summer split. But they made it with hard work and dedication. Still I think that they are really strong and will be underestimated by other teams. But do they have a realistic shot a beating Chinese and Korean teams, I don't think so.
North America:
Cloud 9: started off the season pretty bad, but with incredible teamplay they found their way to the top again. I think Cloud 9 has players that are mechanically weaker than other players but they shine in teamplay and tyeam orientation play. That's what makes them strong, they lost in the final of the Summer Split against TSM. TSM executed a strategy of shutting down C9's Shotcaller and midlaner Hai. C9 got dismantled in those games and other teams will do so to I think. Korean teams have better mechanical players and sometimes even better teamplay, still I think C9 will perform really well same as they did last year.
LMQ: Newly Asian team from the Challenger Series that got through in the LCS. Started off the season spectacular but collapsed a bit in the end, they struggled against lower teams and their jungler and top laner didn't look that solid as in the beginning of the season. Their adc Vasili and mid laner XiaoWeiXiao are great players and will cause problems for other teams. Still if they can find their form, they can be a huge threat.
Team Solo Mid: Winners of the Summer Split in North America, got themselfs a new support player from CJ Entus Blaze at the end of the season: Lustboy. From that moment on TSM were destroying teams, Turtle and Bjergsen were just dismantling other teams. All their lanes are pretty solid except maybe their jungler, who is struggling sometimes. But I expect them to be in a underdog position this World Championship and teams will underestimate them.
Turkey and Latin America
Dark Passage: The Turkish team DP got a wildcard for Worlds because they beat an Australian team in the finals of that Wildcard tournament. But they cant compete against other teams simply because the Turkish LoL scene is bad. I think in all of their games against other teams they will get killed ~30 times. Which is alot, they simply dont have that level of play.
KABUM e-Sports: They also got a Wilcard from PAX, they dominated in their games vs PEX gaming. But also the Latin American LoL scene is generally bad, and cant compete against other regions.
Korea
Samsung Galaxy Blue: Best team of the tournament in my eyes, totally dominated the Korean scene, and crushed SK Telecom's Faker and teammates which is exceptional. The team is just godlike, not much to add. I can't name a weak spot in the team, ADC Deft, Mid laner Dade and Support player Heart are just out of this world. I would grade them at a 90% chance of winning the tournament.
Blue can play from behind as best in the World, I have seen statistics in 35% of the games that they were behind, they would still win in 87% of the matches, which is just exeptional.
Samsung Galaxy White ( Samsung Galaxy Ozone from last year ): Same story as for Blue, White is slightly weaker than Blue. Still the Final could be White vs Blue :), so the two sisterteams could face eachother. Last year they didn't do so well, mostly nerves and playing in a new environment. This year will be destructive, since the Championship are in their own country.
Najin White Shield: Always considered them a strong team, but they never won a OGN title. They had a hard fight to get to Worlds, more than deserved that they are here. Could be a team that can get high in the tournament, while everyone else is just watching Blue and White.
Taiwan and South East Asia
AHQ e-Sports: Mediocre team in my opinion, lost to the Gamania Bears in qualifiers of Season 3. Gamania Bears were crushed by alot of teams, so I dont have big expectations on AHQ.
Taipei Assasins: Rough 2 years for the former Champion of Season 2; totally fell apart because of the prize money distribution at the beginning of season 3. Now they are back and stronger than ever. At the all star challenge they didn't do so great, but again in another environment, could be an underdog for the upcoming tournament, still I think teams would never underestimate this Season 2 Champions.
China
EDward Gaming: Acquiring the spot of North American-bound LMQ, EDward Gaming came in as a new face in LPL esports. Looking to build EDG into a worldwide brand, this young fire hoped to set the entire Chinese scene ablaze, and delivered, taking two consecutive #1 seasons. They go into the 2014 World Championship as the undisputed best team in China, and one of the best teams in the world.
Oh my God ( OMG ): At the S3 championship they did great, the finished 5-8th place losing to Royal Club, the made a great impression to me. Definitely their mid laner 'CooL' played played exeptional. But he has been subbed for ' xiyang ', fresh blood and even a better player than CooL. They have a realistic shot on beating the Koreans.
Star Horn Royal Club : Placed 2nd behind SK Telecom T1 last year, this Chinese powerhouse had financial problems and had to change the entire line up compared to last year. They even aquired 'InSec' which is a big name in Korea. They have an incredibly strong roster right now, and I think they can match the Koreans in style of play.
Predictions per region:
Korea > China > Europe > Taiwan/ Rest of Asia > North America > Brazil/ Latin America > Turkey
If you want more information or you want to add stuff, don't hesitate contacting me through PM.
