This is the biggest odds gift so far in 2012. We have enormous value on Fortuna Düsseldorf in this game. First of all, as many people know, Fortuna Düsseldorf is the team in German professional soccer with the best home record during the past three years since they promoted to 2. Bundesliga. At home they have a completely different face than on the road. Howsoever, they have a little result crisis since they did not win any of the last five games. But this is absolutely misleading. In none of these matches, they have been poor. In Bochum (1:1) they showed a decent display but Bochum were strong on that day and on the road, Düsseldorf are usually satisfied with a draw. Then they lost 2:3 at home to Paderborn which was their first home defeat since September 2010 but Paderborn are amazing in top clashes (yesterday they beat Frankfurt by 4:2) and Paderborn scored through a free kick and so on. Düsseldorf have not been bad in this game, neither. The first game in 2012 was a 1:1 in Ingolstadt. Beating Ingolstadt in their own stadium is pretty hard. Teams like Frankfurt, Fürth, St Pauli did not neither win in Ingolstadt. And they were much closer to win in this game. Then, they got a 1:1 at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. A problem was that Frankfurt showed one of their strongest season displays and most important player Lumpi Lambertz was out due to suspension. Last week, they lost 2:1 away to 1860 Munich. 1860 were really lucky to win this because Düsseldorf were dominating and had more goalscoring opportunities. We should also consider that Düsseldorf showed a perfect attitude in all these games. They have not been lazier or more undisciplined in all these games, they have patently been quite unlucky. But their performance level is still very high.
Aachen are quite a boring team. Their defense is okay but they have a big lack of creativity as well as a poor technical ability. I have seen them in Cottbus 2 weeks ago and what they showed there, was awful. Aachen defended quite deep and tried to hit Cottbus on the break. But Aachen’s counter attacks were awful and poor and they benefitted from Cottbus’ big lack of creativity. Hence they did not allow many goal chances for Cottbus because Cottbus only had ball possession, etc but not enough creativity to create opportunities. But otherwise it was shocking poor that Aachen had no chance in this match because they were simply unable to switch from the defense to the offensive.
And surely it will be the same tonight. Aachen will defend pretty deep and try to keep their clean sheet as possible. I cannot see them scoring tonight because Fortuna’s defense is so strong and because Aachen are unable to counter attack. Hence, Düsseldorf will apply a lot of pressure and they have much more offensive quality than for instance Cottbus which will be crucial tonight. Aachen may be able to concede only 1 goal against an awful side like Cottbus, but in Düsseldorf, I expect them to collapse. Düsseldorf’s recent results have been poor but they do very well and I expect them to reward themselves tonight against a weak opponent. odds are totally wrong here because the market probably thinks that Düsseldorf have played bad (due to their bad results) which is in fact not true.

Als ik het nu zo terug zie had je bet inderdaad best wel een grote kans van slagen.
Jammer dat het dan niet goed zit in de afronding.

Jammer inderdaad van Benny sinds heel lang dat hij een 8/10 pick fout heeft.
Hem volg ik blind hij heeft zoveel kennis en richt zich enkel maar op de 2. Bundesliga heel specifiek.
